- Periodontal therapy for gum disease, including laser-assisted treatments that promote faster healing
The office also provides nightguards and bite splints for patients who grind or clench their teeth, protecting both natural teeth and restorations from damage.
For urgent issues like toothaches, broken teeth, lost crowns, or swelling, the dental office reserves time for emergency visits. The team strives to accommodate same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible, ensuring you receive care in a timely manner when problems arise.
Comfort, Sedation Options, and Modern Technology
Dental anxiety affects many patients, and the Fort Mill office is designed with your comfort in mind from the moment you walk through the door. The reception area offers a calming atmosphere, and treatment rooms incorporate features that help patients relax during their dental experience.
Comfort touches you may encounter include:
- Soft seating in the waiting area
- Warm blankets during procedures
- Noise-cancelling headphones to block treatment sounds
- Televisions in treatment rooms for distraction during longer appointments
For patients who need additional support, sedation dentistry options are available. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) provides mild relaxation that wears off quickly after treatment, allowing you to drive yourself home. Oral sedation offers deeper relaxation for patients with significant anxiety or those undergoing more extensive procedures. The team follows strict safety protocols and monitors patients throughout any sedation appointment.
The office utilizes modern dental technology that enhances precision and efficiency:
| Technology | Benefit |
|---|---|
| Digital X rays | Faster results, 80-90% less radiation exposure |
| Intraoral cameras | Clear images help you see what the doctor sees |
| CEREC CAD/CAM | Same-day crowns and restorations without temporary prosthetics |
| 3D imaging/CBCT | Detailed views for implant planning and complex cases |
These technologies lead to more precise diagnoses, efficient appointments, and better outcomes. For example, CEREC same-day crowns eliminate the need for multiple visits and temporary restorations, with clinical studies showing 95%+ success rates over five years. Patients appreciate completing their dental work in one visit rather than returning weeks later.

For patients who want to improve their smile appearance, cosmetic dentistry services offer transformative results:
- Professional whitening removes stains from coffee, tea, wine, and aging to create a brighter, more radiant smile
- Veneers correct shape, spacing, and color issues with custom made porcelain shells bonded to front teeth
